The Sonoma County Charter Special Education Local Plan Area is a Charter SELPA, the members of which include thirty-four charter Local Education Agencies (LEAs), located outside of Sonoma County. The Sonoma County Office of Education (SCOE) is the Administrative Unit (AU) for the Charter SELPA. The Charter SELPA is governed by the Local Plan, as approved by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Council, whose membership includes charter CEOs representing Charter SELPA member charter LEAs.
